Anniversary Invitation Sample

response to the riddle Botanical

So you found?
This is the mistletoe (Viscum album , family Loranthaceae), a plant which has the distinction of not only grow on tree branches where it forms "balls " because it has no root but "suckers" sinking into the woods to hang. However, this is not a parasite because it can ensure the synthesis "chlorophyll" through its leaves and thus produce its own reserves.

It is found in different trees (on my photos taken at the edge of the Seine you can recognize a willow and black locust pseudo acacia ), or an oak tree (which is most unique!) where Panoramix and c ollègues druids did not hesitate to go for their collection of this sacred plant.
The fruit of the Gui (a white ball) is toxic, it contains substances used in medicine to treat disorders such as hypertension, but also a substance used to manufacture adhesives.
(my picture is not terrible, because the ball was high and I had to zoom in!)

So if you find near you (and you can climb trees!) catches the emergency beyond your door!
Happy Birthday
Thomas
