Anniversary Invitation Sample

response to the riddle Botanical

So you found?
This is the mistletoe (Viscum album , family Loranthaceae), a plant which has the distinction of not only grow on tree branches where it forms "balls " because it has no root but "suckers" sinking into the woods to hang. However, this is not a parasite because it can ensure the synthesis "chlorophyll" through its leaves and thus produce its own reserves.

It is found in different trees (on my photos taken at the edge of the Seine you can recognize a willow and black locust pseudo acacia ), or an oak tree (which is most unique!) where Panoramix and c ollègues druids did not hesitate to go for their collection of this sacred plant.
The fruit of the Gui (a white ball) is toxic, it contains substances used in medicine to treat disorders such as hypertension, but also a substance used to manufacture adhesives.
(my picture is not terrible, because the ball was high and I had to zoom in!)

So if you find near you (and you can climb trees!) catches the emergency beyond your door!
Happy Birthday
Thomas

Numbers Of Gays In Bombay

Movies & Botanical tale for Christmas Merry Christmas

Still on holiday?
This is an opportunity enjoy shows, botanical (or almost) of course! What would you say the cartoon "Rapunzel " last "Walt Disney" made on the basis of a German tale Brothers Grimm "Rapunzel"?
What connection with botany?
is simple: " Rapunzel" is the name of the princess with her beautiful blond hair used as a ladder for her prince charming to come join her in her lap. According to the story of origin, this name was given to him when his mother, pregnant with the beautiful princess, had a crazy desire for " r aiponces" that grew in the garden of a wicked witch. The future course Dad had to go pick them to please his wife but the evil witch caught him and forced him to give her unborn baby that the hag nicknamed "Rapunzel" named salads stolen.
Only the beginning of the story, rather read the Brothers Grimm (Super!) or go to the movies (not bad either!) to learn more (frankly more fun to the movies!). You will know already that your pals on the subject.
As for the " rampion Botanical " is a common plant in the south of France called bellflower (Campanula rapunculus , family Campanulaceae).
It is distinguished by its blue flowers in bells grouped in clusters. These are its leaves can be eaten in salads.

By the way, do you know another famous tale whose title contains the name of a plant?
Waiting your proposals.

Manual For 1996 Bonair Tent Trailer

answer to the riddle of Botany 17 December

Hello

So have you found?
This is of course the "Christmas rose " or Hellebore (which can also write Hellebore), (Helleborus Niger , family Ranonculacées) which owes its name to its bloom in midwinter.
And yes, I checked it loves and hates the cold heat homes and apartments.
You can buy currently on the market and among florists, but it is sometimes difficult to find because once turned off it is very fragile.
Attention also, if you want to decorate your table for Christmas Eve: it is toxic.
Traditionally, it is placed also in the manger where one appreciates the purity of its white flower.

soon for Christmas and a surprise

Pokemon Heart Gold Patch And Anti Freeze

Monster Noel

Hello
So you found?
I'll leave some time for your research and offer you the photo of my fir Christmas to me : it's a Monstera philodendron , a real monster who has over 50 years.
Because he lives in a house not quite heated (20 ° C and not 35 ° C) and not wet enough (as in the tropics) there is neither fruit nor flower, but its leaves are more or cut less depending on his mood ( more they are wide and cut, the more fit! ).
For Christmas I decorated with lights and it is too cool!
And you?
soon
Thomas
